As part of the project, a major renovation of a two-room apartment in the center of Riga was carried out. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a 100-year-old wooden building and originally had no utility connections. A complete installation of water supply, sewage, and electrical systems was required. Additionally, the apartment underwent reconfiguration, removal of unnecessary elements, and the development and implementation of a unique interior design.

Challenges
The implementation of the major renovation in a historic wooden apartment presented several significant challenges, requiring detailed planning and professional execution:
- Wooden building specifics – the 100-year-old structure required careful handling and specialized solutions to ensure durability and safety.
- Space clearing – before starting the renovation, all unnecessary and deteriorated elements, including two old stoves, were removed.
- Lack of utility connections – the apartment had no water supply, sewage, or electricity, so all systems had to be installed from scratch.
- Interior design development – a unique design was created, combining the historic character of the building with modern solutions.
- Layout reconfiguration – the original floor plan was revised and adapted to create a functional and comfortable living space.
Solution
